A story a day keeps the boredom away. Day 1
A story a day keeps the boredom away - Day 1
This is a challenge I will be putting on myself every day on trying to type 500 words each day. This could be on something random, something motivational, something that happened, or something that I just feel passionate about. For today, the title of the challenge that I'll be naming it will be, 'A story a day, keeps the boredom away. This is to back up my previous story that I wrote about Boredom, on how it shouldn't control you, but you should control it. So, I guess for this day, I'll be writing about the story on why I made that.
I decided to make that story about Boredom as a way to.. clear my boredom. I realised I haven't been that active in typing and being creative since it's the weekend and the exams messed me up due to the stress. I realised, the exams are over, the stress is gone, yet there's no relief. I still felt burnt out and felt worried for the future but, that's the future. Don't focus on the future, focus on now. What you achieve now, will be passed on to the future. To achieve your future, you must firstly achieve what you wanted to achieve now. I decided, there's no more excuses that just being lazy. Right after this, my PC broke and overheated. At this point, there was no playing games for the next few days. So, in the next few days, I'll be trying to do stuff that I felt pointless and boring.
This felt as a wakeup call, yet I still feel asleep. I'm still trying my best to get out of this lazy habit but it's hard. If I can't play the games I want to, I can't feel the joy that I want to. I think I want to go and play out some more with my friends, but I'm not sure about how busy their schedules are. During school, it's so fun to play and chat with your friends during when you all can meet up, though there are some restrictions because it's school. Meeting up in person in the park is good as there's no limitation and restrictions on what to do, so it makes it more fun.
Again, going back to what I said. I'll be trying to type 500 words each day to reach my goal of about 15,000 words a month - about the same on what I used to type before I had all this important exam stuff and moving to next year in school stress. All I know is that, when I get my PC fixxed, the relief will be crazy and I'll be able to play all the games I've been wanting to play all this time waiting. I've just bought some thermal paste to apply to my PC CPU cooler for it to transfer heat easier and to cool much better (so it can cool down better and not overheat like it did yesterday).
Anyways, that's pretty much all to talk about. Thanks for reading, see you tomorrow (hopefully).
