Youtuber - Day 22
This is day 22 of the challenge - A story a day, keeps the boredom away. Each day I'll try to reach my goal of 500 words a day. Today I'll be writing about YouTubers and stuff about them.
My dream job since I was a young child, even till now, was to become an entrepreneur, more specifically, a YouTuber. Being a YouTuber feels like a dream. Most people describe being a YouTuber as a dream that not a lot of people could experience. You need to be entertaining, experienced, and most importantly, understand your audience. Here's my journey and where I am currently at right now.
When I realised how to be to make videos and edit, - this was about 6 years ago now - I decided to make my first videos on Roblox and Minecraft, my two favourite games at that time. At that time, I made a few short videos on my dad's channel with my brother, and we were having a great time. We were doing some building in Minecraft, we were fighting with the armour and weapons inside of the game, we were making houses, beacons, stuff that I didn't know, but my brother did. Most likely, it was from watching DanTDM on YouTube, and so that YouTuber is what inspired me to start making videos.
The next few videos, I just made more Roblox and Minecraft videos, until after a few videos, I stopped making videos. This was because I had totally forgotten and I just felt that it was sort of boring and exhausting, as I much rather to just play games without any worries and just to have fun with my brothers, without having to do recording, editing, and uploading. This was a really small bump in the road, but because I was young, this was enough to stop me.
This kept up, until about 2 years after that. I had found a new game to play, and I found my favourite YouTubers playing the game. This game would be, Bubble Gum Simulator (BGS). I would be playing this game a lot every day, until I decided to make videos and upload them onto YouTube on my dad's channel. I would keep making these videos, until like 20 videos, making videos, giveaways, grinding, servers, and gameplays. This was until I decided to make my own channel. This would be my first channel.
My first channel would be under my own name, and looking back at it now, that seemed really dumb, as everyone knew my face, my name, and my voice. I would make videos on Bubble Gum Simulator, and the viral hit games, Jailbreak and Mad City. I would make videos between them and the viral between them. Both games would have crazy updates and so I would make videos between both of them occasionally. This would keep going on until I got banned for livestreaming. I decided to dumbly make a livestream with my face cam accidently as I saw many YouTubers with face cams, and so I thought it would be fine if I had done. I got banned with 100 subscribers.
Once I had gotten banned, a year later, I decided to make another YouTube channel, under a different name, and stuff that I was passionate about. This channel would keep on with the Bubble Gum Simulator legacy and keep playing the game. I would make about tips and tricks, giveaways, and most importantly, Robux giveaway videos. This was when Roblox decided to randomly implement the 14 days wait for you to payout to new group users. This really blew up my channel and I really had a strong fan base with 300 subscribers. I would make a variety of games and livestream, till I thought soon my fan base had died out and I needed to make a new channel.
With me creating a new channel, I decided to change up my game choice to Pet Simulator X. I got friends with a big YouTuber with 12k subscribers, and I got usually shoutouts from him. It was a fun time, although the main problem was that I had school. This was during quarantine and so I had online classes, but still though, I had classes for 5 hours a day, till I got schooled at home and it took another like 5 hours a day still. It was a hard time, but after a few months, I got up to 500 subscribers and then after that, I moved onto new games. Until I moved to the UK. I had to stop making videos and I stopped for a while. It took like 6 months till I got used to the UK and so I started making videos again.
I decided to make videos about a different game that I felt passionate in, and which now I don't make videos on it anymore - 6 months later.
I made videos on Toilet Tower Defense, and the videos I made on that game actually blew up and I also made videos on other games before that which also did well, and I was passionate about that also blew up to like 10k views or 4k views. After all that, I had 900 subscribers. Now I don't upload anymore, until today.
Today I got a burst of energy and motivation to make one more video. I made a video on Pet Simulator 99. Not Pet Simulator X, but rather Pet Simulator 99. A new game that they had created, well not so new as it had been a year since its release, but still, the newest one that they had released. I made a video on the new update, and it did horrible. No Views.
Anyways besides that, I know being a YouTuber is hard, and so the next thing I'm going to write about is how to be a successful one, and the steps I'm going to try to replicate from other YouTubers giving tips on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Thanks for reading.
