Funday & Tired Day - Day 15

This is day 15 of the challenge - A story a day, keeps the boredom away. Each day I'll try to reach my goal of 500 words a day. Today I'll be writing about how my fun day has been and how tiring it was after that.

Today, this morning, I woke up pretty energized. The first hour, I spent in the bathroom, doing my own business, but then I got out and ate my breakfast. Once I had finished my breakfast, my parents told me to get ready fast as we would be leaving at 10:00 to go to a place that they didn't clarify, but what sold the trip was that we would be meeting up with our friend.

Once I heard that, I took a shower and got ready quick and got into the car and we headed off. During the car ride to the place, our parents then clarified that we would not be meeting up with our friend as they had something else to do during that time. This really destroyed our mood on this trip and sort of diminished the whole point of why we went as we would have basically no fun anymore, although this wouldn't be the case and I'm actually happy that we went through with the plan instead of just backing out and going back home.

I was woken up when we had arrived at the place. I was super lazy, and I barely got out of the car to go into the place. The place was an ice cream parlour thing with some other activities that you can do in the place; there was mini golf, escape room, bouncy area, playground and the main attraction, the ice cream parlour area, with about 25 flavours that you could buy and eat from.

We decided to go do the mini golf first and we decided to see who could do all the courses / holes in the mini golf in the lowest number of strokes. This was pretty fun and at the end, I won even though I got so many DNF's, but at the end, I wished I could have done it again and made it fairer because at the end, it was whoever could get it in the fastest, so strokes didn't matter. That wasn't really that fair.

Anyways, after that, we went to the ice cream parlour and decided to buy some ice cream flavours that we wanted to try. We decided to buy the limited-edition Nutella flavour, Rocky Road, Mint chocolate chips, and donut flavoured ice cream. It was a bit expensive. The price for all of the ice cream was 14 pounds. The taste on the ice cream was good though. I must say, the Nutella was a bit overrated. It just tasted like regular chocolate ice cream, and the other flavours, they were great. The rocky road was chewy, the donut was sweet and strawberry frosting like an actual donut, the mint chocolate chip was, mint chocolate chip, an amazing regular flavour of ice cream.

Then after that, we decided to go to a small pizza cart area where they sold pizza for 12 pounds. 12 pounds is a lot of money for a pizza. I was expecting some fancy Italian pizza, but when it arrived, it was a thin, cheesy pizza. I couldn't really complain as it was actually pretty good, but for its price, its size, it wasn't worth it. At the end, the pizza was crunchy, cheesy and tasty so that was good.

Then for the final attraction at the park that my parents allowed us to go was the escape room. It was scheduled to be 15 minutes to 12 and we were there. We got into our cell and we had to escape the room within the 10 minutes time limit. We got into our cell and the timer had started. The cell was the easy part, we were out of there with 7 minutes left. Then we had to leave the small prison. That was the hard part and we had to solve some puzzles to do so. At the end, we were able to escape with only 2 minutes left remaining on the timer. That was pretty fun, and so we left but we before we left, we went into the store and bought some gum that was flavoured green apple and it said it was sour. We tried it, it was good, and we drove to a mall area or like a food court area with many attractions. It was hard to explain but the area was massive.

When we got there, there was so many foods to buy, but they were all so expensive to buy. I decided to buy a Mexican burrito that had grilled chicken in it, and it costed 12 pounds. That was pretty expensive, and the burrito was alright size, but it was good. The seasoning, the chicken, the pinto beans, the rice, the vegetables were so good together. Sadly, it didn't last for long and we went outside of the food court and into the outside area. 

The outside area had so many restaurants and it had so many shops. It was really hard to count how many there were. After a long time of deciding, and my mom super intense brain trying to comprehend which shop to go to so that we can eat as there was so many options, we chose at a fish and chips shop. We bought fish and chips, burgers, and some chicken wings. The food there was absolutely BANGING. It was amazing and we had gone there before so that's probably why my mom decided to eat there.

After that, it started to rain, so we went back to the parking lot and headed back home. It took a bit of time, but by the time we arrived back, it was 3:00pm. Just for reference, we had left the house at 10:00am and now it was 3:00pm. We had been gone for 5 hours. It doesn't seem long, but that's a long time. We had done so much stuff, it was fun, even though we didn't get to play with our friend due to some bad timing and planning.

After that, I ate some food, played some football with my brothers, played some games, watched some videos. Today was absolutely tiring as we had to walk most of the time we had gone out and most of the time we had to go and get food, and now it's 10:45pm, ready for me to go to sleep, as tomorrow I have school on Sundays.
