 Hanging out - Day 3

This is day 3 of the challenge - A story a day, keeps the boredom away. Each day I'll try to reach my goal of 500 words a day. Today I'll be writing about my day and about me hanging out with my friend at my house today.

Let's first go back to when we had planned out this visit to my house.

Yesterday, I got onto a video call with my friend for about 8 hours and he was with his friend. His name is Aran. We talked about how it was like having friends over and about the game we were playing, which was Roblox and one of the most popular games on the website, Pet Simulator 99. During the time we were talking about bringing friends over to our houses, he put in the idea that he comes to my house, or I come to his house so that we could play around and have some fun playing games. I found this idea as a wonderful idea as this would increase my interaction with my friends. We planned to play VR (Virtual Reality), Roblox, and GMOD (Garry's Mod). So, I told him to pack up his VR headset, his laptop, his charger, mouse, and we would be ready to set to start having fun the next day.

The next day, it was a school day, so I met up with him and he set that after school he could come to our house as his parents said yes and so did my parents as well. We talked about what we could do and to prepare and told him my address. At the end of the day, we got our plans ready, wrote down to him my address and where to meet up and when to meet up. I got back home on time and got ready as fast as possible ready for him to arrive at 4:00pm. My school ends at 3:05pm so I have about 55 minutes to set up my clothes ready for him to arrive and so when the time struck at 4:00pm, I was done setting up the desk and cleaning up the house ready for him. This time would be delayed a bit as he had to charge his VR for a bit, and he soon arrived at about 4:30pm.

As soon as my friend had arrived, there was already good vibes in the air, and I told him where he could set up his laptop and I also helped him out on charging his VR headset while he did so. Then after that, he asked for a house tour and showed him around of the house that he could access and not my parent's room as that's a forbidden room for visitors as it's sort of private. Once then, I gave him a drink and snack and we got ready to play some games.

We started it off slow playing some Roblox Pet Simulator 99 and did our thing about trading and talking about our stuff in the game and how we had improved over time. We also talked about his friend about the game and how that he got scammed and decided to get a lot of value from me to help him out. It was fun talking about it and playing Pet Simulator 99 till we had finished playing and decided to switch the VR as it had been about 45 minutes and the VR had charged from about 12% to 35% which was good. We played for an hour with the game that he had bought called 'Davigo' and it was a fun VR giant vs a PC small character that you had to fight. If you fell of the map, you would still be alive, and your target would be to kill the giant. Though you had limited health, so either you or the giant could win or lose. The game was really fun, and we played till it ran out of battery and charged it back upstairs again.

Then after that, we went back to playing on computer, Roblox Pet Simulator 99 and also some other games too while we waited to play more Davigo and Garry's Mod. The time was fun, and we also had to pray in between a session since it was already time to pray. After that the time had struck 7:00pm, realising we had only 30 minutes left for him to play till he leaves as before he had a phone call with his dad, and we said that 7:30pm would be a good time for him to leave but now it feels like that was too early. With that time, we played a bit more, then got ready to pack up everything to help him and soon later, his dad arrived, and he had to leave. We set our goodbye's and we said that we would be down for you to come again, or we come to your house. It was a fun time and a sad ending, but right after he got back to his home, he went onto his laptop and phone called me, ready to play some more. Then we played until 9:30pm, where now I am writing this at 10:30pm, about to go to sleep.

This day was super fun and helped me interact with my friends more and have new experiences playing games. The next time your friends say that either you or they want to go over to your house and you're down to then don't be afraid and do it, as you won't regret it in the future and it will be a ton of fun.
