Mondays - Day 10

This is day 10 of the challenge - A story a day, keeps the boredom away. Each day I'll try to reach my goal of 500 words a day. Today I'll be writing about my day and how Mondays are the worst days in the week, especially due to it being the first day of school after the sweet, nice weekend.

In the morning, always typical of me to be in a grumpy mood. Surprisingly, I woke up early at 6:30 today - more like 6:40, but I woke up at 6:30 but accidently went back to sleep; at 6:40, when I got up, I decided to pull out my phone and watch some YouTube shorts while getting up and walking downstairs, ready to make my breakfast.

This morning, I decided to have malt Wheaties - the plainest cereal out there - because it was a horrible day, a horrible time, and a horrible day coming upon us. But at the end of school, there was a surprise that made us very happy.

Once I made my cereal, I got upstairs and continued watching while eating my breakfast. Since I woke up early, I get to eat while watching as I have alot of spare time on my hands to wait, though this time is still very limited.

Let me just skip the boring stuff. I showered, got changed, got my bike out, got into an annoying little argument with my brother, making my day worse, and then arriving to school.

Once I arrived at school, it was nearly time for the gates to closed, making us almost late and having us to serve a detention for coming in too late. Luckily it wasn't closing due to people coming in and out the gate, keeping it open. My friend was also there waiting for us (he would also come to our house after school). We talked for a bit until we had to get into our lines and go inside the school.

As soon as I entered the school, my friend was greeted with a stage by the teacher after him annoying the teacher for a few weeks now. It was sort of surprising as the teacher usually took it as a joke and my friend was doing it for fun the whole time. Anyways, once that was done, we had science.

For science we got to go to the computer room and do a practical online, since the offline practical was already being done by another class or it wasn't the correct weather to do it. We did quadrat practical, estimating the number of flowers in a field. We had to write all of this in our books for our next lesson, where we would be doing this legit in the real field.

The next lesson was by far the worst. We had break and that alright while it lasted. During my next lesson, performing arts, and we had an assessment. I'll just skip this, but it was really embarrassing and very hard to do. The teacher said that all of the groups did fine, and ours was the biggest and she said we did good.

The next lesson I got technology, and the teacher was actually really chill and respectful. He said, once you complete the task, do whatever you want. An actual W teacher, the teacher also complimented my typing speed capabilities. It was really nice and enjoyed it. 

That lesson raised my mood up and then I had lunch. The food was good, I had a sandwich,

The next lesson I had was English. English was absolutely insane. It was horrible. The teacher was out, and we had a substitute. One of the students decided to go up and teach. This is like the teacher's pet but also not. We had a horrible debate and at the end, she decided to sing her rap song and it was really cringy.

For math, we also had a computer room and we had to revise for the math end of year test in just a few days, I think it's on Wednesday. That lesson was also fun. I got to play the money game and revise with my best friend for the whole time. This whole day also he had to give in his stage, and it was really funny to see his reaction when he gives the stage to our teacher.

The day was alright and when I got back home, my friend came over to stay for a bit to play some games. He came at 5:00 and he left at 8:40. Even though it was 3 hours and 30 minutes, it still felt really short. I really hope the next day will be fine and the test will be okay. The day was good, but the school was alright.
