Cliff Pt4 - Day 39

Today was the only day that we actually did something. Today we went out and went to a cliff area near the shore on the WEST side of Isle of Wight. We were staying the Premier Inn hotel which was on the east shore side of the Isle of Wight. This time we would be exploring the opposite side to see if it was any different and there was a also a fun fair area that we would be exploring as well but we didn't know that it was closed until February when the wind isn't super crazy and when its not cold ( as during November to January it gets really cold due to the area that the UK is in ).

As we woke up today, we were all okay and my little brother was really sick. He was so sick, he hasn't even took a shower for the past 3 days. That's probably why he was sick. ( He did shower the next day which is good as the next day, we would head back home ). We would all eat breakfast and I would just watch YouTube for the morning as I woke up early and my brother and parents soon woke up later. They ate while one took a shower in the bathroom one at a time. Soon later, we all took a shower and we all had breakfast and we were all ready.

We were debating on if we should bring my little brother as he didn't want to go as he felt too sick, and so we were wondering on how we could make sure he stayed safe while we were away. We realised if we gave him a phone, he could call us any time and my dad would pick up the phone and answer his call. So we gave him my phone, as my phone has mobile data which would allow him to get good connection whenever he called my dad. There was also hotel Wi-Fi that he could use and make him watch YouTube for the whole time that we were away. He was also probably watching TikTok as he is addicted to that app. 

We all got ready ( except for my little brother because he is staying home ) and we got our water bottles, a bit of food, put on our coats and jumper, shoes and we then set off the hotel room, wishing my little brother a good recovery and hopefully that he will be okay and safe for the time we are away, which won't be for the whole day. Then we started to walk down to the lobby of the hotel reception area to leave the hotel. Then after that we had to walk a good 15 minutes to our car. Remember, the last time I said my parents had moved the car to a place where there was free parking which was 15 minutes away up hill to the area they parked it too.

This took a bit of time, but it was time well spent as it was a good moment to breath in the fresh air because we hadn't been out at all yesterday ( maybe my parents left the hotel room to get some milk from the store but besides that, we haven't got outside to go somewhere all together yesterday at all ) so today was a good time to take in the surroundings. Then we started to go uphill as we passed the Co-op store that I said we bought the milk and snacks. We had already passed the fish and chips store behind us. Then once we had arrived to the van, we of course unlocked it and we got in, and since my little brother wasn't coming with us, me and my brother and my little sister got to use to the seats in the middle as if he did come with us, one of us would have to be in the back like usual, so that was good as we didn't have to sacrifice someone to be in the back of the car all bored and by them selves ( but it really isn't that bad to be fair and im just mainly over exaggerating it ).

Then we started driving towards the west side of the island. It took about 38 minutes I believe as I was looking at the cars screen google maps that turns on when you connect to the screen through a USB wire connected to your phone that you put in the front of the screen. We are unsure about the distance because we already forgot about it but you could probably search it up, but it was directly from the most east to the most 

west part of the island so it's pretty easy to find out. Then after 

that, for most of the trip we just played around with some apps that I found on my brothers phone, like some wordscape and we tried to find the words for all of them but it was really hard and we only got to complete like 8 of them until we arrived to place and for some of them, we just gave up completely as there were some words that we didn't even know existed and we thought were just made up, but that was really fun. Here are some pictures I also had took while we were on the road trip towards the west coast of the island.

When we had arrived, we had got out of the car and you could hear the wind all crazy. Here are some pictures of the area that we took while we were there.

Even from inside the car, it had sounded like the car itself was going to tip over, but luckily it didn't and I don't even think it could've tipped over because of how heavy the car is. Anyways, the wind was so crazy, it was pushing back me, and I was basically leaning off and the wind was pushing me to stay upright. It was that crazy. We had also seen another family checking out the view of the coast that we were on. We were next to a cliff edge also, we were on the cliff near the edge, and we got onto a bridge sort of thing, I'm not sure what it is called, but it doesn't connect a place to another place, it just makes you see a taller view from the cliff edge. It was crazy with the wind and many rocks flew into my eye and it hurt a lot. We made sure to get down as fast as possible so that we could explore the fun fair right after wards. I waited for my dad and the others went to explore. I told my dad about the dinosaurs at the fun fair and the stuff that fell over because of the wind. We then soon realised that the reason the fun fair is closed is because that, the whole fun fair is closed until February because of the wind and cold. It was closed since November because of it.

Then we slowly walked back to the van so that we could could back to the hotel, but without getting some food. I decided to sleep the way back as I felt very sleepy for some reason. So I pretty much just easily passed out and slept, while my brother took a picture of me and made some pretty awesome art out of it. He overlapped everything in the image and it looked funny and amazing. Unfortunately I don't want to show it because it's my own face and I don't want to, but rest assure, it is amazing. We got some chicken wing food and it was pretty good when we arrived back to the hotel and when we tired it out.

When we arrived back, we had to bring it to the hotel with a 15 minute walk as we parked in the same area again and we went to the elevator once we reached the hotel. Then we went upstairs to go to our room and entered and thankfully and our little brother was still there and he was still in bed, just watching TikTok like I had just thought and he was chilling.

We all decided to eat and we ate all sorts, like pizza, garlic pizza bread, chicken, fries and we had no drinks except for water and tea ( tea is pretty much just hot water with a herbs and so it's pretty much the same and not a big difference ). Then after that we became full and we prayed and soon later it was already time to go to sleep. I'm not too sure of the timing of these things, but because of UK time and area, it gets dark really quick and sunrise very late. So soon later I stayed up a bit longer and everyone slept, then soon later I slept sideways as there wasn't even enough space on the bed. Thanks for reading, Goodbye.
